"Hainan Ball" large-span steel structure single-layer space frame structure design

The plane projection of the "Hainan Ball" steel structure reticulated space frame is circular, with a diameter of 150m, a plane projection area of about 17622.5m2, and a reticulated space frame vector height of 52m. 

The surface of the reticulated space frame follows the shape of the northern hemisphere of the world map. Solar panels are laid on land and the ocean is partially exposed. , The building has a peculiar shape, and the entrance part has a large hole with a span of 72.28m and the highest height of the hole is 16.2m. The structure adopts a single-layer spherical reticulated space frame of rib-ring inclined rod type, which is divided into 96 sections in the radial direction and 30 sections in the circumferential direction. Each cell is arranged in a trapezoid shape (the size of the bottom is about 4.9 m×3.5m).
